Using the right colors for your website is an often overlooked aspect of website design. To help you determine what colors to use, the Internet provides for excellent tools. One of the best I have come across is the "Color Wizard."
First you are asked to submit the base color of your site. Once entered, the color wizard returns a series of matching colors. This is very useful if you want to experiment with color combinations.
The Color Wizard gives you variations including hue, saturation and tint/shade of the base color. It also suggests color schemes based on the base color's complementary color, split complementary colors, analogous colors and other variations.
