The developers of E-Crawler have produced a plug-in many Joomla users must have been waiting for: the possibility to drag and drop images directly from other sources into Joomla articles while the image is automatically saved in the image/stories or any other directory.
Using E-Crawler saves you the hassle of downloading images from the Web, saving them on your computer, uploading and finally inserting them into the editor. With this plug-in, you can simply drag images from the Web directly into the editor. Once you save the article, the web link of the image is converted into a local link to the images directory.
We give the developers credit for developing a plugin that should be part of the Joomla core.
