You may have discovered our website on Twitter and wonder how we managed to link our website automatically to our Twitter page.
The answer is fairly simple.
Step 1: Register an account with Twitter if you do not have one.
Step 2: Download a Twitter API plugin from the JED. We recommend that you use AutoTweet from the "International Guild of 1-st Movers."
Step 3: Assuming you already have articles you would like to share, enable the settings in the plugin that will update your Twitter account when you edit an existing article.
Step 4: Enter the username and password for the Twitter account in the plugin and activate the plugin.
Step 5: Open an existing article and save it (you do not need to edit it). The system will connect with Twitter and your link to an existing article is in a Tweet.
Step 6: Once you have opened and closed all existing articles you want to share with Twitter, we recommend you disable the option that edited articles are linked to Twitter. This will avoid duplicate Tweets.
Please note from the AutoTweet developers: If you do not publish an article at the same time when you save the article, this article will not posted to twitter when it is published later from the backend.
Below is a list of all tweets we have posted using AutoTweet. We use the TweetXT module to display the tweets below. TweetXT is available from the JED:

Inserting RSS feeds in your website helps you build content. For a simple RSS feed, we recommend the standard feed module of Joomla. For more sophisticated applications, we recommend that you look at the free version of RSSfactory in the JED.
The RssFactory Joomla component comes with a search plugin that allows you to search the RSS feeds and a module to place the feed in a module position (or in an article if you use the loadposition tag.) We have created the following RSS in this article as follows:
Step 1: Download the component from the JED and install it in Joomla.
Step 2: Insert the feed url in the component section (not the standard Joomla Feed component).
Step 3: Activate the RSSFactory module and type "Joomla" or any other name in the module position (by default it is in the left position) and change the settings if needed.
Step 4: Insert the loadposition tag in an article with a reference to the module position (step 3) and publish the article.
You should have a RSS feed in your article like the one below.
